General engineering

If it's metal, we can make it. Or mend it.

A well-equipped fabrication shop with the full range of welding processes in-house, working in steel, stainless, aluminium, copper and brass. From one-off repairs to full builds and complete process pipework, in the workshop or on your site.

Fabrication & welding

Every process, in-house

Tig, pulse Tig, Mig, pulse Mig, flux cored, gas, manual metal arc and metal spraying. Having the full kit under one roof means the job gets the right process, not the nearest one.

  • All metals: steel, stainless, aluminium, copper, brass and more
  • Casting repairs: bronze, cast iron, aluminium, zinc die cast, cast steel
  • Architectural metalwork: flashings, wrought iron, stainless handrails
  • Fencing: from school fences to high-security correctional facilities
  • Materials handling: conveyors, elevators, augers, hoppers and bins

Pipework: spooling, installation and repair

If it flows, we've probably piped it

Air, water, steam, hot water, tallow, CO₂, O₂, petroleum products, chemicals and dairy product: we've spooled and installed pipework for the lot. The weld you can't see is the one that matters, so ours is done by ticketed pipework welders, spooled in the workshop where quality is easy to control, then installed on site.

  • Process pipework: steel, stainless and other metals to suit the product
  • Dairy and food-grade lines: stainless work for product you can't compromise on
  • Steam and hot water, plus air, gases and petroleum products
  • Chemical lines: materials matched to what's flowing through them
  • Repairs and alterations, including breakdown work on live plants

Planning new pipework, or fighting old pipework? Either way, the first step is a look and a straight answer on the best way to run it.

Breakdowns

A burst line doesn't wait for Monday

Neither do we. A burst main at midnight gets an engineer, not an answerphone: ring the breakdown line on 027 433 3045, any hour. Plants on a maintenance agreement with us get priority response and scheduled checks that catch the next failure before it happens.

During the day? Ring the workshop on (06) 357 1103 and we'll get it isolated, repaired and flowing again.

Bring us the drawing. Or the broken bit.

Either works. We'll tell you how we'd make it, what it'll take, and when you can have it.
